In early July, we celebrated the achievements of Primo Foods employees who completed the SEE Program's Workplace-based Training in Wacol, QLD. This milestone marks the second cohort to graduate from the program at this site, reflecting a growing enthusiasm for foundation skills training among the workforce. 

Three years ago, Chandra had never touched a computer, couldn't read or write, and didn't speak a word of English. Today, she texts her friends and family, works confidently with numbers, and holds a nationally recognised English language qualification. 

Jonah is a SEE Program participant. Originally from Papua New Guinea, he knew that improving his English would help him thrive at work. Better communication meant he could understand instructions, ask questions and share his ideas with the people around him. 

We partnered with JBS to build foundation skills in language, literacy, numeracy and digital capability for their PALM (Pacific Australia Labour Mobility) employees, delivered over 10 weeks in a classroom setting. 

Primo Foods recognised the value of investing in their team's development, particularly for employees participating in the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme — a program that enables workers from the Pacific region and Timor-Leste to take up employment in Australia. 

On 30^th July 2026, we celebrated the official opening of our new site in Springvale, VIC where we deliver the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program. 

Farah has come a long way since joining our Adult Migrant English Program. She's now advanced enough in her English language proficiency to give back as a volunteer tutor, mentoring and supporting new participants as they begin their own language learning journey. 

Ambulance Victoria, the state's official emergency medical service provider, recently partnered with Max Solutions RTO 0667 to deliver specialised training directly to our learners.

Susan is a current SEE Program participant with Max Solutions, and her feedback points to something that data alone can miss: the quality of the teaching relationship.

Keith spent four months brushing up on his reading and writing skills in our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program in Rockhampton.  

The Adult Migrant English Program, known as AMEP, provides free English language tuition to eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants in Australia. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs, the program helps learners build the English skills they need for everyday life, work, study and community participation. 

Fast forward twelve months, and Zewdi is the heart and soul of the room. Her sense of humour has everyone laughing. She’s shared stories and food from her home country of Eritrea, teaching her classmates and trainers as much as they’ve taught her.

When Zubeida began the SEE Program, she had very limited English. She communicated through gestures — pointing, miming, and reading the faces of the people around her to be understood. 

Recently, we welcomed nurses from Hunter New England Local Health District for an informative session on Flu tracking with our learners in the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
