Tree of Voices Project

Tree of Voices Project

Our Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) team and participants were proud to present their Tree of Voices project at the 15th Multicultural Services Expo, organised by the Multicultural Neighbourhood Centres

This interactive display invited attendees at the event to share messages about belonging, community, wisdom, culture, and respect. The thoughtful contributions collected beautifully highlighted the diverse voices and experiences within the community. A warm thank you to the Lord Mayor of the City of Newcastle, Gavin Morris, for your contribution to the tree!

“We see multiculturalism and diversity as central to creating inclusive learning environments where everyone feels respected and supported,” reflects Stephen Innes (Business Manager – AMEP).

We were proud to see many current and former AMEP participants getting involved during the day. Their participation demonstrates how this program meaningfully contributes to Australia’s rich cultural diversity.

Supported by our trainers and team, our current participants confidently engaged with visitors, sharing about their experiences being involved with the AMEP. A wonderful way for them to connect with community while putting their language and communication skills to practice!

The AMEP is funded by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs. Max Solutions RTO 0667 is subcontracted by Navitas to deliver the program.
